Worldwide, surgical instruments are produced in two well-known locations - in Sialkot, Pakistan and in Tuttlingen, Germany – the last one being known internationally as one of the centers of medical technology.

They have also invested in fully automatic cleaning and passivation systems.
German manufacturers are developing new innovative products such as ergoDissect scissors, micro-tools, etc. To improve the performance of certain instruments, they introduced new materials such as Titan, Peek, Nitinol and ceramic coating.
There are several reputable German manufacturers, of international stature, which offer quality instruments for all medical specialties.
